About the owner

Oliver Tappin, the owner and director, is a young entrant into the web design business.  As a boy, Oliver was fascinated by websites, how they were constructed and written.  He became interested in writing in HTML (web language) and researched and practised how to build text and pictures onto websites that offered free hosting.

Oliver experimented, pumping other more experienced people for information (including the network services manager at school) and started learning other languages such as PHP, AJAX and jQuery over his school summer holidays.  He was constantly trying out more complex scripting which would allow a user more freedom and control over their sites and also realised he could buy his own hosting and start making his own sites.  Oliver gradually came to realise that, with the right knowledge, which he was gaining all the time, he could create literally anything on a website from a blank page, not relying on templates, website-building software or other companies' expertise.  He really could do anything.  By himself.

At the age of 16, having built sites free for friends, he realised he could use his knowledge to become independent and make a going concern of his skills.  Shortly after his 17th birthday, he registered Titanium Web Designs Ltd.  From that day forward, he has been creating websites for personal and commercial use, locally, nationally and internationally, whilst taking every business opportunity he can see available to him.  His ethos was to become successful by taking better care of clients than they had previously been used to.  He was determined to make his business stand out from the crowd by providing useful information, 24/7 support and creating attractive, inexpensive websites, according to his clients' vision.

More about the company, Titanium.

Titanium was registered as Titanium Web Designs Ltd in March 2010.  Oliver Tappin, started in his home town in Worthing, West Sussex, to bring professional looking websites to companies and individuals in his local area.

Titanium continues to bring an excellent service to new and existing clients where customer service is priority. The business is expanding and building a reputation both locally and, more recently, nationally.
